Abstract
In the past decade and a half, the highest political leaders of Russia and Latin America had made considerable efforts to elevate the Latin American-Russian interaction at a higher level. The result was an increase in the volume of trade and economic exchanges, the formation of strategic partnerships with a number of States in the region. Russia now faces the challenge of making a new step forward in cooperation with Latin America, in particular, to promote to the region the industrial products of domestic enterprises, including technological and high-tech goods and services.
