Abstract

International tourism is one of the most important forms of migration of people in the era of globalization. Besides, the tourist industry is one of the most significant branches of the global economy. The paper is dedicated to the analysis of the charm of the cities of Latin America, which attracts tourist flows from abroad. The author analyzes the structure of the charm of these cities. It includes the charm of hotels, the charm of restaurants and the charm of attractions. The author offers a system of indicators that allows you to measure the charm of Latin American cities objectively. Empirical research shows that the most charming cities in Latin America are Rio de Janeiro, São Paulo, Buenos Aires, Santiago, Mexico City and Lima.
