Abstract

For many decades one of the urgent problems of development of the Argentine economy is high inflation, which passed many times in hyperinflation and caused heavy social and political consequences. Combating uncontrolled growth in prices has always been in the focus of attention of the Argentine authorities, but it is very rarely that anti-inflationary measures produce the desired long-term positive effects. As a result, inflation has become a veritable nightmare for the Argentines. At the present time, the growth of consumer prices is one of the main obstacles to stabilizing the economic situation in Argentina. That’s why the suppression of inflation once again occupies a central place on the agenda of the official Buenos Aires.
